Emily Threadgill

Emily Faye Poole Threadgill, 65, of Spartanburg, died Thursday, May 17, 2012, at her home. Born January 27, 1947, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of Virginia Annis Childress Poole of Spartanburg and the late Elbert Coleman Poole. She was a member of Cowpens First Baptist Church and employed by Hamrick's. Surviving are her beloved husband of 28 years, Leslie Grey Threadgill; daughter, Patricia Powers of Spartanburg; son, David Parker and wife Amanda of Jonesville; granddaughters, Amber Nicole Emily Hughes of Spartanburg and Victoria Paige Haydock of Jonesville; and grandsons, David Alton Parker Jr. of Spartanburg, Gunnar Lawrence Parker of Spartanburg, Tristan Cole Parker of Jonesville, Donald Blythe Hughes Jr. of Spartanburg, and Noah Chase Haydock of Jonesville. Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 PM Saturday, May 19, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Sunday, May 20, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, by the Rev. David Frost and the Rev. Charles Hall. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family is at the home of her mother, Virginia Poole, 776 Patterson Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
