Emily Rose McCallister

Emily Rose McCallister, 74, of Chesnee, died Thursday, December 7, 2023, at her home. A native of Spartanburg, she was born on August 29, 1949, a daughter of the late Henry Abe (Mack) and Margaret Bell McCallister.

She had been employed at Siemens Manufacturing Company in Roebuck.

She is survived by four sisters, Margaret Edwards, Sundie Lomax, Marsha Lance and Sheri Smith: two brothers, Rass McCallister and Ricky McCallister. She has a large family; eleven nieces and nephews; 17 great-nieces and nephews; and 14 great-great-nieces and nephews. Everyone loved to see "MiMi" and all of her family loved her so much and will miss her dearly. She was predeceased by a sister, Georgiana McCallister; niece, Mitzy Hyatt; nephew, Rass Lance; great nephew Aaron McCallister.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm Thursday, January 4, 2024, Whitney Cemetery, 847 Iron Ore Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303 conducted by the Rev. David Lancaster.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
