Emily Jane Dillard Henderson, 92, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at White Oak at North Grove. Born April 21, 1930, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Edna Wood Dillard.
Mrs. Henderson was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
Survivors are a daughter, Teresa Cecil (Oliver), of Spartanburg; two granddaughters, Crystal Turney of Lyman and Nikki Curtis (Daryl) of Charlotte; three step grandchildren, Lauren Cecil, Kent Cecil (Marisa), and Harrison Cecil (Melanie); and seven great-grandchildren, Shelby Culbreth, Zachary Scoggins, Ethan Curtis, Mila Curtis, Mason Cecil, Saylor Cecil, and Lottie Cecil; one great-great-grandchild, Margo Scoggins; sister, Charlene Parris (Bill) of Inman; brother, Steve Dillard (Ailene) of Chesnee. Besides her husband, George G. Henderson, Mrs. Henderson was pre-deceased by Lucille Henderson (Paul), Joe Dillard (Nancy), George (Doc) Dillard (Dorothy), Bill Dillard (Edith), Helen Powell (Norman) and Charlie Dillard.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 12, 2023, 1:30pm to 2:30pm, at Fairview Baptist Church, 1551 Bryant Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00pm in the church conducted by The Rev. Ty Childers and The Rev. Gary Pruitt. Entombment will be private.
