Emily Hayes

Emily Cunningham Hayes, 89, formerly of Glenn Springs Road, Pauline, died Friday, January 29, 2010, at White Oak Manor. Born January 8, 1921, in Glenn Springs, SC, she was the daughter of the late James Henry and Mattie Simmons Cunningham and the wife of the late Willis Hayes. She was retired from Wachovia Bank and was a member of West Springs Baptist Church. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 1, 2010, in West Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Union County, SC, conducted by the Rev. Jim Cunningham. The family will receive friends following the service at the Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to West Springs Baptist Church, 4811 Buffalo/West Springs Highway, Pauline, SC 29374.
