Elmer Shirey

In loving memory of Elmer Kenneth Shirey, born November 6, 1941, in Blacksburg, SC and died on Friday, February 24, 2017. Elmer Kenneth Shirey, 75, of 444 Keltner Ave., Spartanburg, SC went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 24, 2017 after a long illness. He was a retired textile worker of Butte Knitting Mills. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Shirey of Spartanburg, SC and mother, Eva Manis of Grover, NC. He is also preceded by one son, Charlie Wayne Shirey. He is survived by two children, a daughter, Linda Shirey Lingerfeldt of Blacksburg SC, and a son, Tim Shirey of the home. He has seven grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
