Ellis Gwinn, Sr.

Ellis Robert "Bobby" Gwinn Sr., 62, of Rutherfordton, NC, died Saturday, September 27, 2014, at Hospice Home of Rutherford County, Forest City, NC. Born January 6, 1952, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Clifton Robert Gwinn and Martha Nadine Jones Gwinn. He was a member of Hayne Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Cowan Gwinn; a daughter, Wendy Durre of Fruitland Park, FL; a son, Robbie Gwinn of Rutherfordton, NC; sister, Mickie Gwinn Moss; and brother, Randy M. Gwinn. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Cheryl Gwinn Oberlietner. No services will be conducted. The family is at the home.
