Ellena Fowler

Ellena Marion Wall Fowler, 73, of 8346 Valley Falls Road, died Sunday, July 11, 2010 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born September 22, 1936 in Spartanburg County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Charles Albert and Annie Ruth Wall and the wife of the late Howard Leroy Fowler. She retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Valley Falls First Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Tammy Fowler of the home and Sherry Coates of Campobello; a son, Keith Fowler of the home; a sister, Mildred Laws of Inman; three grandchildren, Steven Smith, Evan Fowler, and Tosha Smith; and 2 great-grandchildren, Rhianna and Lochlan Smith. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Valley Falls First Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Phil Welchel and the Rev. Glenn Rusher. Burial will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park. The family is at the home of her daughter, Sherry Coates, 3040 Compton Bridge Road, Campobello, SC.
