Ellen Bush

Ellen Beck Bush, 82, of Spartanburg, died Friday, October 4, 2013, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born February 28, 1931, in Decora, GA, she was the daughter of the late John Terrill and Eunice Savage Beck and the widow of Wilton V. Bush. She loved the Greer Opera House, loved to dance, and was a member of Rock Falls Church. Survivors include son, Roger Seagraves and wife Sandra; daughter, Oshel Christian and husband Michael; daughter, Linda Whiteside and husband Johnny; eight grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Sunday, October 6, 2013, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, October 7, 2013, at the chapel, conducted by the Rev. David Carter. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ellen Lou Bush Memorial Fund, PO Drawer 1530, Spartanburg, SC 29304. The family is at the home of her daughter, Oshel Christian, 1140 Ridgecrest Avenue, Spartanburg, SC 29301.
