Ella Virginia Keattes Shipp Moore "Grandma", 93, of Inman, SC, went home to be with the Lord in Paradise on Friday, February 15, 2014 at Golden Age Nursing Home. She formerly lived on Oak Street, Inman, SC. Born November 5, 1920 in Midland, VA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Keattes Jr. and Mary Moss Keattes and wife of the late Ballard "Buck" Moore. She was first married to the late John F. Shipp. Mrs. Moore was a retired civil service worker for 20 years at Patrick Air Force Base, Coco Beach, FL and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are daughters, Sharon M. Pittman of Chesnee, SC and Crystal D. Moore of Spartanburg, SC; sons, Fredrick L. Shipp of Salemburg, NC, Clyde D. Shipp, and Robert F. Shipp both of VA; step-daughter, Patricia Moore; step-sons, Larry N. Moore of Leesburg, VA and James H. Moore of Clearwater, FL; 22 grandchildren including Kisty Lewis of Chesnee, SC; and 20 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by son, Homer Floyd Shipp; and daughter, Barbara Joan Raymond. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Monday, February 17, 2014 at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at Wood Memorial Park, 863 Gap Creek Road, Duncan, SC 29334, conducted by Chaplin Laura Jones.
