Ella Duncan

Ella Ruth Roberts Duncan, 86, of 1166 Edgewood Avenue, died Tuesday, December 8, 2009, at her home. Born July 31, 1923, in Inman, SC, she was the daughter of the late James Pinkney and Lucinda Lunsford Roberts and the wife of the late Ernest Carl Duncan. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include a daughter, Kathy Darlene McKittrick of Inman; three sons, Carl Dean Duncan of Greenville, Richard Wayne Duncan of Acworth, GA, and Randall Lee Duncan of Gaffney; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Janice Ruth Gosnell. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 p.m. Saturday, December 12, 2009, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel conducted by the Rev. Billy Fowler. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. The family is at the home.
