Elizabeth Ann "Libby" Honbarger Young, 64, of Spartanburg, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 18, 2012, at her residence. Born January 5, 1948, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Charles Robert Alexander Honbarger and Frankie Clark Honbarger. Mrs. Young was retired from Hoechst Celanese. She was a member of Solid Rock Church and the Ora Chapter #153 Order of the Eastern Star. Libby's life revolved around her beloved children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of 23 years, Michael G. Young; daughters, Special Leigh Young of Spartanburg, Kandice Elizabeth Young of Spartanburg, and Sarah Melissa Owens (David) of Gaffney; sons, Edward "Jason" Burnett Jr. (Michelle) of Spartanburg, David Ralph Lawter (Jennifer) of Greenwood, Michael Alexander Lawter of Spartanburg, Sterling Lee Lawter (Rhonda) of Gaffney; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; twin sisters, Sara Hodge and Mary White, both of Spartanburg; and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Sunday, October 21, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Monday, October 22, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, by the Rev. Randall Lewis. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gibbs Cancer Center SRMC Foundation, 101 East Wood Street, Spartanburg, SC 29303; or Spartanburg Regional Hospice, 120 Heywood Avenue Suite 300, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
