Elizabeth Thomas

Elizabeth Hall Thomas peacefully passed away Monday, February 19, 2018. Elizabeth was born in Spartanburg, SC, daughter of W. Bernard Hall and Charlotte Bush Hall. A graduate of Limestone College, Elizabeth was a teacher at Z. L. Madden in Spartanburg, SC, Merrywood Elementary in Greenwood, SC, and a teacher and vice principal at Oakhurst Elementary in Seminole, FL. She was an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother who will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband, Edwin Bryce Thomas; her brother, Bernard Hall, Jr. (Jean); her two daughters, Denise Thomas Pettibone (William) of Largo, FL, and Libby Thomas Nance (Steve) of Chesnee, SC; her grandson, Bryce Pettibone; and her loving caregiver, Sandra Colon. The family will have a private graveside service in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens on Thursday, February 22, 2018 and a Celebration of Life will be scheduled later in the spring with family and friends.
