Elizabeth Caroline Brannon Rabago, 82, of Spartanburg, SC, died Wednesday, December 21, 2016, at her home. Born March 6, 1934, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Florence McElrath Brannon (who died in childbirth) and the late Palmer and Callie C. Brannon. She was the widow of Severino "Bob" Rabago. A graduate of Spartanburg Junior College, Mrs. Rabago was a member of Fairforest Church of God and retired from Spartanburg Medical Center after 51 years of service. Surviving are her daughters, Nena Jolley and Louise Henson of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Michelle Mathisen of Simpsonville, SC and Glenn Godfrey of Denver, CO; three great-grandsons; three great-granddaughters; and special niece, Marsha Teamer. Visitation will be 10:00-10:45 AM Friday, December 23, 2016, at Fairforest Church of God, 2662 Fairforest-Clevedale Rd., Fairforest, SC 29336. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM, at the church, conducted by the Rev. John H. Petty III. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
