Elizabeth Harris

Miss Elizabeth Betty Harris, 87, of Cowpens, SC, died Monday, June 24, 2013, at Park Place Assisted Living. Born November 23, 1925, in Cowpens, SC, she was the daughter of the late Graham and Bessie Edwardnia Barnwell Harris. Miss Harris retired from Draper Corporation after 30 years of service as executive secretary. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church. Surviving are her brother, Robert Barnwell Harris Sr. (Helen) of Greenville, SC; sister, Dorothy Harris Davis of Spartanburg, SC; four nephews; four nieces; seven great-nephews; and six great-nieces. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers; and two sisters. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, June 28, 2013, in Waters Cemetery, Waters Road, Cowpens, SC 29330, by the Rev. John David Howle. Visitation will follow at the graveside.
