Elizabeth Sprouse

Elizabeth Anderson Sprouse, 92, of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, October 30, 2014, at White Oak Manor-Spartanburg. Born April 3, 1922, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Charles Wilbur and Lillian Lancaster Anderson and the widow of Herman Walker Sprouse. An avid gardener, Mrs. Sprouse attended Cecil's Business College, was retired from Beaumont Mills, and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are three sons, Ronald Sprouse (Cheryl) and Jerry Sprouse (Mary), all of Spartanburg, SC, and Keith Sprouse (Gracyn) of Summerville, SC; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, John David Sprouse; two sisters, Ruth Wolfe and Vera Camp; and two brothers, Newton Anderson and Howard Anderson. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 PM Sunday, November 2, 2014, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev. Jack Caldwell.
