Elene "Judy" Smith, 93, of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, April 9, 2015, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born August 29, 1921, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late George Myers Weest and Gary Bearden Weest, and widow of Rembert Leroy Smith. Mrs. Smith enjoyed her flowers and loved her dog "Kiah". She was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are her son, Dale Smith (Patricia) of Spartanburg, SC; granddaughter, Amanda Leonard (Willie) of Kodak, TN; great-granddaughters, Hannah Kendrick and Emily Kendrick; and sister, Kathlene Myers of Spartanburg, SC. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Fran Norton. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday, April 11, 2015, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by Mr. Craig Lambert. Visitation will follow at the graveside. Memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303; or Creature Comforts Veterinary Resort and Suites, 2045 Hwy 292, Inman, SC 29349.
