Eileen Dobslaw

Eileen Margaret Faloon Dobslaw, 87, of Spartanburg, SC, died Tuesday, December 17, 2013, at her home. Born July 13, 1926, in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late John Faloon and Helen Otis Faloon, and the wife, for 57 years, of the late Gerhardt Alfred Dobslaw. Mrs. Dobslaw was the former owner of Allcare Kennel and attended St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Survivors include her children, Scott Dobslaw (Tonya) of Chester Gap, VA, Jody Dobslaw and Kathy Dobslaw, both of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Gregory Dobslaw, Angie Karas (Andy), Amanda Dobslaw, David Dobslaw, and Porter Dobslaw; and brother, Jack Faloon of Springfield, IL. In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by a son, Mitchell Dobslaw; and a sister, Mary Jane Bruton. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, December 19, 2013, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 1:00 PM Friday, December 20, 2013, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 161 N. Dean St., Spartanburg, SC 29302, by the Rev. Timothy M. Gahan. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
