E. Harlon Campbell

February 18, 1932 — August 10, 2021

E. Harlon Campbell, 89, died August 10, 2021 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.  Born February 18, 1932, in Greenville, SC.  Mr. Campbell was the son of the late Thomas Earl “Jack” and Ruth Farmer Campbell.  He was a retired Inspector for the State of South Carolina – LLR Division.  Harlon was a member of Wesminister Presbyterian Church, American Legion Post 45, St. John’s Masonic Lodge #333, and a Hejaz Shriner.  He was also a US Army veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Rachel Koon Campbell; a daughter, Mona Hall (Larry), of Inman; two grandsons, Joshua Hall and Avery Hall (Bre), two great-grandchildren, Zayden and Zoey Hall.  Two brothers, Dever Campbell (Mary Rose) of Gastonia, NC, Leland Campbell of Greer, SC; four sisters, Kathryn Hawkins of Greer, SC, Annie Crawford (Ed) and Jean Hawkins (Frank), both of Taylors, SC; Sue Fowler of Duncan, SC.

Mr. Campbell was predeceased by a daughter, Dana Harris and two brothers.

Services will be 3:00 PM, Sunday, August 15, 2021, at Westminister Presbyterian Church conducted by Rev. Dale Rawlings.  Visitation will follow service at the church.  Entombment with be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Westminister Presbyterian Church, 309 Fernwood Drive, Spartanburg, SC, 29307, and Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC, 29303.
