Effie Mae Gregory Wyatt, 75, of Pauline, died Saturday, November 13, 2010. Born June 24, 1935, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Coan and Beulah James Gregory. She was a faithful member and former Sunday School teacher at Philadelphia Baptist Church. She was devoted to her Lord and family. Survivors include five daughters, Debbie Smith and husband Otis of Inman, Frances George of Roebuck, Vicky Staggs and husband Kenneth of Pauline, Joan Dorsey and husband Jerry of Union, and Cathy Cudd and husband Mike of Roebuck; a son, Phillip Wyatt and Hope of Spartanburg; nine grandchildren, Randy George, Jr. of Arizona, Andrew Smith of Inman, Starr Smith of Arizona, Kim Bailey of Union, Kyle Riddle of Chesnee, Amber Wyatt of Charleston, Summer Wyatt of Spartanburg, Michael Cudd of Spartanburg, and Matthew Cudd of Roebuck; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Eugenia Switzer of Pauline and Helen Phillips of Gaffney. She was predeceased by a brother, Coan Gregory, Jr. and Eula Lee, who was raised in the home. The family extends a special thanks to Dr. Steven Corso and his staff for the loving care of their mother. Visitation will be 4:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday, November 14, 2010, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday, November 15, 2010, at Philadelphia Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Joshua C. Jennings, the Rev. Edgar Boles, and the Rev. Monty King. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brian Trammel, John Trammel, Ricky Price, Eddie Taylor, Jerry Wyatt, and Doyle Switzer.
