Edwin Harley Gresham, 79, of Spartanburg, SC, died Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Cottingham Hospice House. Born March 15, 1943 in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Edwin Willingham and Cornelia Harley Gresham, and was the husband of the late Barbara Kaye Massey Gresham.
A US Army veteran, Mr. Gresham was retired from International Paper. A lifelong member of First Baptist Spartanburg. He was a pretty simple man who was very easy going and loved his family and bluegrass. He was hard worker and never missed a day of work.
Survivors include his daughters, Caroline Gresham Creef (Shawn) of Pickens, SC and Sallye Gresham Stroupe (Brandon) of Pensacola, FL, his grandchildren, William Edwin Stroupe, Isabelle Caroline Stroupe and Gresham Bruce Stroupe, all of Pensacola, FL, his brother, Warren Willingham Gresham of Waynesville, NC, and his sister, Carol Gresham Stephens (Mike) of Greenville, SC.
Visitation will be 1:00 – 2:00 pm Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Graveside service will be 3:00 pm in Sunset Memorial Gardens, 1955 Cannons Campground Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by The Rev. Sal Barone.
