Edward Arthur

Edward Lee Arthur, 78, of Spartanburg, SC, died Monday, June 16, 2014 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born July 18, 1935, in Spartanburg County, SC, he was the son of the late Annie Mae Cannon Arthur and Wallace Wood Arthur and husband of the late Barbara Matthews Arthur. He was a member of Cannon's Camp Ground United Methodist Church and owner of an import/export business. Survivors include a sister, Lillie Eaker of Spartanburg, SC; and four brothers, Jack Arthur, Ben Arthur and wife Nancy, Don Arthur, and Harold Arthur. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by two sons, Mickey Lee Arthur and Ryan Edward Arthur. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 18, 2014, in Sunset Memorial Park, 1955 Cannons Campground Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev. Mac Kinnett.
