Edward Andreassen

Edward Carl Andreassen, 59, of Inman, died Thursday, March 31, 2011, at his home. Born January 19, 1952, in Hazleton, PA, he was the son of the late Kjell Norman and Marit Tjersland Andreassen. He is survived by his wife, Eileen Catherine Dempsey Andreassen. Mr. Andreassen was a teacher and assistant principal for Spartanburg School Districts 2 and 7. He attended St. Paul Catholic Church. In addition to his wife, survivors include his daughter, Kirsten Dean and her husband Jason W.; a grandson, Andrew Wayne Dean; three sisters, Doris Davis, Alice Andreassen Smith, and Marianne Saunders; and a brother, Philip Andreassen. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 PM Sunday, April 3, 2011 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. A Christian funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, April 4, 2011 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Artur D. Przywara. Memorials may be made to The Soup Kitchen, 438 N.
