Edith Mueller

Edith "Edie" Harp Mueller, 51, of Boiling Springs, SC, died Saturday, February 14, 2015, at McCall Hospice House-Simpsonville. Born March 4, 1963, in Gadsden, AL, she was the daughter of Charles and Marva Allen Harp of Gadsden, AL. She was the wife of Douglas Scott Mueller, of the home, who is an employee of Kohler Company in Spartanburg. Mrs. Mueller was formerly employed with Gadsden Regional Hospital and was a Mary Kay Cosmetics Consultant. She enjoyed gardening and outdoor activities and was raised in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). In addition to her parents and husband, she is survived by her daughter, Nicole of the home; sister, Carrie Lynne Nunnally and husband Brian of Hokes Bluff, AL; brother, Pierce Harp and wife Cheryl of Rainbow City, AL; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Carol and Peter Mueller of East Concord, NY; brothers-in-law, Jeffrey Mueller of Rochester, NY, and Steven Mueller of Albany, NY; uncle and aunt, Darwin and Sylvia Allen of Lexington, KY; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Marvin and Marie Allen; and paternal grandparents, Henry and Julia Harp. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM Saturday, February 28, 2015, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Teresa Lewis. A memorial service in Gadsden, AL will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday, March 7, 2015, at Christ Central Church, 409 West Grand Avenue, Rainbow City, AL 35906, by the Rev. Sherri Reynolds.
