Edith White

Edith Louise Russ White, 54, passed away Friday, July 8, 2022, after a brief illness.  Born March 24, 1968, in Damascus, Maryland, she was a daughter of Doris Ann Shoemaker Russ and the late Richard Allen Russ.

Edith graduated from Damascus High School in 1986 and attended Gardner-Webb College where she graduated with a degree in Religion. Edith had a deep love for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  Edith will be greatly missed.

Edith is survived by her loving husband, Gerald Scott White of Spartanburg and extended family in Maryland, including her beloved nephews, Michael and Nathan Wolford.

Visitation will be at 3:00 pm Friday, July 15, 2022 at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. A Memorial Service will be at 4:00 pm at the chapel, conducted by The Rev. Sal Barone.
