Edith Leslie

Edith Wheeler Leslie, 81, of 415 Brenda Way, died Saturday, March 27, 2010, at Ashland Village. Born July 10, 1928, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late William Luke Wheeler and Lillian Gertrude Varner Wheeler and was married to the late Walter Harold Leslie. She was a retired seamstress with Claire Manufacturing and was a member of Anderson Mill Road Baptist Church. Survivors include three daughters, Nancy L. Boyd, Karen L. Blikle and Patsy L. Austin; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Sandra Ridings and Sara Sexton. She was predeceased by a daughter, Cheryl L. Keith. Visitation will be 6:00-6:45 pm, Monday, March 29, 2010, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm at the Chapel conducted by the Rev. Dr. Allan Adams. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family is at the home of her sister, Nancy Boyd.
