Edith Addis Fowler, 89, of Spartanburg, SC, died Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at White Oak Estates-Spartanburg. Born March 30, 1929, in Gaffney, SC, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Tom and Fannie Young Addis and widow of Forrest "Bo" Fowler. A member of Park Road Baptist Church in Prosperity, Mrs. Fowler was a very faithful Christian known for her contagious smile. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved to cook and enjoyed being outdoors. Survivors include her daughter, Janice F. Martin and son, Ronald Fowler (Lisa), all of Spartanburg, SC; grandsons, Brent Martin, Forrest Fowler, and William James; granddaughter, Allison Fowler; great-grandchildren, Gracie and Kane Martin; daughter-in-law, Cathi Fowler of Boiling Springs, SC; and sister, Norma Brown of Cowpens, SC. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, Wayne Fowler; five brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 7, 2018, at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, 141 Memorial Dr., Pacolet, SC 29372, by The Rev. Wako Cotney with visitation following at the Chapel. Burial will be in Pacolet Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice. The family is at their respective homes.
