Edith Adair

Edith F. Adair, 86, most recently a resident of Gainesville, GA, passed away on December 31, 2011 after a lengthy illness. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion L. Adair; mother and stepfather, Kate and Donald Hohenshildt; father, John A. Fincher; brothers, Clarence and John (Buck) Fincher; and sister, Evona Henderson. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Starr and Bert Sellars of Big Canoe, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Holly Adair of Knoxville, TN; granddaughter, Caprice Sellars of Chicago, IL; granddaughter Wendy Fisher and her husband, David, of Cumming, GA; great-granddaughter, Katherine Fisher. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on January 2, 2012 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Spartanburg. The service will be conducted by Rev. Cindy Adair Inman.
