Edisto Harris

Edisto Edith Littlejohn Harris, 92, of Spartanburg, SC, died Friday, February 7, 2014, at Valley Falls Terrace. Born August 10, 1921, in Gaffney, SC, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie and Mattie Lee Bedenbaugh Littlejohn, and wife, for 65 years, of the late Benjamin "Ben" F. Harris. Mrs. Harris was a member of Peach Valley Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughters, Amanda Harris and Debbie Wright (Monty), all of Spartanburg, SC; four grandsons; and two great-grandsons. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Brenda Divine; sisters, Laverie Zupanic and Era Stone; and brothers, L. V. Littlejohn and Alvin Littlejohn. Visitation will be 2:00-3:45 PM Sunday, February 9, 2014, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Perrin Powell Jr. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Mike and Mark DeVine, and Chris and Matt Wright. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Activity Fund of Valley Falls Terrace, 400 Locust Grove Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
