Eddie Thompson Jr.

Eddie Barney Thompson Jr, 59, of Inman, SC, died Monday, September 21, 2020 at his home. Born October 19, 1960 in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of Gladys Ann McCombs Thompson of Inman, SC and the late Eddie Barney Thompson and husband of the late Donna K. Thompson. Mr. Thompson's family was everything to him and he was a huge Dale Earnhardt and Dallas Cowboys fan, and a Florida State Seminoles fan. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his son, Heath Thompson of the home; grandchildren, Savannah Tate, Olivia Tate and Nicholas Tate all of Inman, SC; and siblings, Diane Rutledge, Paul Thompson, and Glen Thompson all of Inman, SC and Ann Crane of Chesnee, SC. In addition to his father and wife, he was predeceased by a brother Robert Thompson. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, September 24, 2020, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel, 4161 Hwy 9 North, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, September 25, 2020 at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel. Burial will be in Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens, 1081 Hwy 9 North, Boiling Spring, SC 29316.
