Eddie Omerle Nunamaker, Jr.

Eddie Omerle Nunamaker, Jr., age 81, of Boiling Springs passed away on May 17, 2024.  Born on September 24, 1942, to the late, Eddie Omerle Nunamaker Sr., and Greeba Montine Hooker Nunamaker.

Eddie is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Gayle Webb Nunamaker; daughters, Dana  Nunamaker Cooper (Todd) of Chesnee, SC and Jill Nunamaker Cooke (Matt) of Cowpens, SC; grand-daughters, Morgan Williams (Phillip), Mallory Cooper and Trinity Cooke; and sister, Betty Raye Scheerer.  Eddie is predeceased by his son, Matthew Edward Nunamaker.

Eddie served in the Army National Guard for 6 years. He graduated from Carson Newman University. He loved his family and he had a sense of humor that will forever be treasured. He enjoyed spending time in his boat with family.  Eddie will be remembered by the unforgettable impact he left on those he met. Eddie served the Lord and is now in his Heavenly Home. 

Family will receive friends from 2:30 pm to 4:15 pm Monday, May 20, 2024, at Covenant Baptist Church, 200 Evangel Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29301.

Funeral service will follow at 4:30 pm conducted by the Rev. Gary Hensley.  Burial will be held in Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery, 1554 Bryant Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29303.
