Eddie Gibbs

Eddie Michael Gibbs, 62, of Boiling Springs, SC, died Thursday, August 11, 2022. Born January 10, 1960 in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of Martha G. Hayes of Spartanburg, SC and the late Otho Gibbs, Jr. and the husband of the late Donna Pryor Gibbs.

Eddie was a member of Cudd Memorial Baptist Church and a member of the Care Sunday School Class. He was an electrician with Pryor Electric and Control.

Survivors in addition to his mother include his son, Chase Michael Gibbs of Boiling Springs, SC; his brothers, Kevin Gibbs (Sandy) and Tim Gibbs (Carol) of Inman, SC; nine nieces and nephews, eight great nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Reggie Pryor (Renee) and sister-in-law, Karen Vise (Kennon), all of Spartanburg, SC.

Visitation will be 3:00 – 4:00 pm Sunday, August 14, 2022 at Cudd Memorial Baptist Church, 1301 Boiling Springs Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303. A Memorial service will be 4:30 pm, at the church, conducted by The Rev. Danny Garrett, The Rev. Ronnie Norris, and Eulogist Everette Orr. Private burial will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens, 4164 Boiling Springs Road, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. Honorary Escort will be the members of the Care Sunday School Class.
