Wilma Earline Vaughn Sellars, 83, of Spartanburg, SC, entered into eternal joy with Jesus after a short illness that was filled with Mercy, Grace, and beautiful Faith Thursday, June 9, 2016, at her home. Born October 6, 1932, in Clifton, SC, she was the daughter of the late W.J.B. and Nancy Maness Vaughn. She was the widow of Howard Leroy Sellars, the love of her life. Earline was better known as Granny Sellars. Granny loved playing the piano. She couldn't read music, but if she heard it, she could play it. She loved gathering the grandchildren around the piano to sing as she played. Granny enjoyed teaching the grandchildren to play simple songs on the piano. The joy and pride she felt as the children were able to play the songs on their own was indescribable. Granny loved everything about her family. Her family was her greatest joy. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed passing her talent and her recipes down for generations to come. She was loved and admired by all who knew her. Earline was retired from Butte-Knit after 25 years of service as a supervisor of the sorting department. Our sweet Mama and "Granny" is survived by her daughter, Gail Trent (Lloyd "Junebug") of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Chuck Trent of Spartanburg, SC; Jamey Trent of Waterloo, SC; Jennifer Trent of Spartanburg, SC; Timothy Trent of Chesnee, SC; Daniel Trent (Dot) of Roebuck, SC; Chandra Edmonds of Aiken, SC; Shane Sellars (Kim) of Spartanburg, SC; David Sellars (Stacey) of Pauline, SC. Granny was proud of her 21 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Her heart was deeply broken as she was predeceased by two her sons, David Jennings Sellars and Michael Leroy Sellars; and a daughter, Angela Roylene Sellars. She was also predeceased by sisters, Marie Coggins, Virginia Bruce, and Polly Snelgrove. Visitation will be at 4:00 - 6:00 PM Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
