Earl Wayne "Butch" Lynch, 68, of Spartanburg went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 24, 2011, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born November 6, 1943 in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Woodrow Wilson and Elizabeth Pennington Lynch. He was formerly employed by Southeastern Paper, a S. C. State Constable, and of the Baptist faith. Surviving are his wife, Emma Jean Harden Lynch, three sons, Alan (Sheril) Lynch of Jonesville, Mark Lynch of Simpsonville, and Todd Lynch of Travelers Rest, step-brother, Larry (Helen) Blanton of Spartanburg, step-sister, Fay Jones of Atlanta, GA, seven grandchildren, Cody, Christopher, Brandon, Tyler, and Sissy Lynch, Brandy Bailey and George Carpenter; and six great-grandchildren . He was predeceased by a sister, Brenda Lynch Strain. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Sunday, November 27, 2011 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 Noon Monday, November 28, 2011 at Sunset Memorial Park, conducted by the Rev. Cindy Adair Inman. The family is at the home, 204 Ranier Drive, Inman, SC.
