Earl Hensley

Earl Wesley Hensley, 76, of Spartanburg, SC, died Tuesday, September 20, 2016, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. Born August 15, 1940, in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Floyd Wesley Hensley and Mary Robbins Hensley. He was a self-employed independent contractor. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Nancy Thornton Hensley; daughters, Earline Hensley, Elizabeth Tolleson (William), and Mary Hughes, all of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Matthew Miller, Justin Hensley (Tara), Dustin Hensley, Michelle Wykel, and Cynthia Culbertson; and great-granddaughter, Savannah Christiano. A cryptside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, September 23, 2016, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Complex, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Visitation will follow at the cryptside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Earl Wesley Hensley Fund, c/o The J. F. Floyd Mortuary, PO Drawer 1530, Spartanburg, SC 29304.
