Dr. Pendleton, Jr.

Dr. William "Bill" Wesley Pendleton, Jr., 78, of Seneca, SC, died Monday, November 29, 2015, at his home. Born August 31, 1937, in Rock Hill, SC, he was the son of the late William Wesley and Opal Griffin Pendleton. A graduate of Wofford College, Mr. Pendleton obtained his Masters and Doctorate Degrees from Tulane University. He retired from Emory University where he was a Sociology professor. Surviving are his sister, Lanie Loos; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 23, 2016, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by Salvation Army Captain Donnie Marvels.
