Dr. Neighbors

Dr. Clyde Randall Neighbors, 77, of Spartanburg, SC, died Friday, October 2, 2015 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born March 15, 1938 in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Clyde Jefferson and Myrtle Shook Neighbors. Dr. Neighbors was a Dentist, an active Shriner, and a Mason with St. John's Lodge #333. He was an avid golfer and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Mildred Neighbors; a daughter, Deborah Neighbors Clary (Randy) of Spartanburg, SC; granddaughters, Whitney Shehan (Zack) of Landrum, SC and Kari Eason of Spartanburg, SC; a great granddaughter, Emilee Shehan; sister, Linda James (Larry) of Opelika, AL; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by a son, Jefferson Clyde Neighbors. A graveside service with Masonic Rites will be at 3:00 PM Wednesday, October 7, 2015, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Schuyler Peterson. Visitation will follow at the graveside.
