Douglas Wise

Douglas Keith Wise, 58, of Spartanburg, SC, died Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born April 3, 1958, in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Harvey Earl Wise and Betty Lou Roden Wise. A graduate of Tulane University, Mr. Wise received his BS Degree in Computer Engineering and was employed with NTT Data. Survivors include his children, Kristen Wise of Charleston, SC, Sean Wise of Spartanburg, SC, and Jason Wise of Irmo, SC; his long-term girlfriend, Betty Amos of Spartanburg, SC; brothers, Harvey Earl Wise III of Jupiter, FL and George Smith of New Jersey; nieces, Ivy Jones and Sara Wiese of Arizona; nephew, Harvey Earl Wise IV of Jupiter, FL; and other close relatives and friends. Doug was an avid University of South Carolina Gamecock fan. His birthday wish is that everyone send up a prayer for a National Championship on Monday, April 3. "GO GAMECOCKS!!!!"
