Dot Bishop

Dot Horton Bishop, 85, of 400 Webber Road, died Wednesday, September 16, 2009, at White Oak Estates. Born September 12, 1924, in Spartanburg County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Roland W. and Elsie Pearl Solesbee Horton and the wife of the late Les Bishop. She was a member of Davis Memorial Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Karen B. Dillard of Boiling Springs, and Raye Bishop McLyea of Spartanburg; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 p.m. Friday, September 18, 2009, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 19, 2009, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel conducted by the Rev. Charles Hall. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
