Dorothy Tessnear

Dorothy "Dot" Roberts Tessnear, 78, of Pacolet, SC died Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born October 15, 1942 in Gaffney, SC she was the daughter of the late Carl E. Roberts and Annie Mae Gaffney Roberts and widow of Bobby Fredrick Tessnear. Mrs. Tessnear was a member of Tate Memorial Baptist Church. She loved her church, family, and grandchildren; enjoyed going to the beach and mountains and was an avid reader. Survivors include her children, Debbie Tessnear Tidd, Todd Tessnear (Laura) all of Pacolet, SC and Mark Tessnear of the home; grandchildren, Blair and Lindsay Tidd, Josh Tessnear (Sheri), Kassidy Tessnear and Noah Tessnear all of Pacolet, SC and Heather Morgan of Spartanburg, SC; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Avery Tessnear and Bowen Morgan; sister, Joyce Anders of Pacolet, SC and brothers, Wayne Roberts of Campobello, SC and Ray Roberts of Spartanburg, SC. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a grandson, Brooks Hammett. Graveside services will be held 12 Noon, Thursday, December 17, 2020 in Pacolet Memorial Gardens, 141 Memorial Drive, Pacolet, SC 29372 conducted by The Rev. Dennis Tessnier.
