Dorothy Moss

Dorothy Lee Oglesby Moss, 83, of Cowpens, SC, died Thursday, August 21, 2014, at National Healthcare in Greer. Born April 12, 1931, in Cowpens, SC, she was the daughter of the late Charles Lee and Timmie Jane Oglesby and the widow of George Carroll Moss. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Gaffney, SC. Surviving are her children, Gary Moss (Judy) of Seneca, SC, Burley Moss of Charlotte, NC, and Patti Ellis (Tim) of Fountain Inn, SC; grandchildren, Adam Moss, Paige Valesquez, Dylan Moss, Cole Moss, Scott Moss, Allie Yongue, Taylor Ellis, and Tyler Ellis; and great-granddaughter, Mattie Valesquez. In addition to parents and husband, she was predeceased by brothers, Frank Oglesby, Bob Oglesby, Donald Oglesby, and Wesley Oglesby; and sisters, Margaret Jones, Lucille Kirby, and Eula Phillips. A cryptside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 23, 2014, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Heritage Chapel Mausoleum, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev.
