Dorothy Mcdaniel

Dorothy S. McDaniel, 73, of Wellford, SC, died Friday, October 9, 2015, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born August 7, 1942, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Earl Samuel and Loice Codgill Solesbee. Mrs. McDaniel was retired from the United States Post Office, Spartanburg branch after 30 years of service. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Survivors include her beloved husband of 55 years, George McDaniel; daughter, Susan Branham (Randal); grandson, Kyle Branham; granddaughter, Casey Branham, all of Woodland Park, CO; and a sister, Judy Ramsey of Gaffney, SC. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Friday, October 16, 2015, in Sunset Memorial Park, 1955 Cannon Campground Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by the Rev. Rob Gouge and Pastor Brandon Lewis. Memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 842 Mt. Zion Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
