Dorothy Hooper

Dorothy Kunkel (Dot) Hooper, 89, of Spartanburg, SC, died Sunday, November 22, 2015 at Rosecrest. Born September 15, 1926 in Cincinnati, OH, she was the daughter of the late Frank F. and Helen Meyer Kunkel. She was retired as an accounting clerk and was a member of First Baptist Church of Spartanburg. Survivors include her sons, Frank Dennis Hooper (Donna) of Atlanta, GA; and Thomas Grant Hooper (Judy) of Spartanburg, SC; daughter, Donna Hooper Campsen (Larry) of Inman, SC; and three granddaughters, Alison Jean (Daniel); Victoria Revell (Guy); and Amber McDonald (Bo); three great grandchildren, Kailey Revell, Kristen Revell, and Riley Jean. She was also predeceased by a brother, Frank Robert Kunkel. Visitation will be 1:00 - 1:45 PM Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306. Services will follow at 2:00 PM at the chapel. Burial will be held at Westview Cemetery, 1680 Ralph David Abernathy SW, Atlanta, GA 30310.
