Dorothy Gosnell

Dorothy "Dot" Louise Johnson Gosnell, 85, died Friday, January 26, 2018, at her home. Born August 21, 1932 in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Virgil and Juanita Austin Johnson. Dot was a secretary for Sam Gosnell Heating and Air and was formerly a nurse with Doctors Lanford and White, OBGYN. Survivors include her loving husband of 66 years, Samuel Landrum Gosnell; sons, Danny Ray Gosnell of Spartanburg, and Billy Dean Gosnell (Lisa Terry) of Inman; three grandchildren, Joshua Gosnell, Jonathan Gosnell, and Christie Marie Gosnell; six great grandchildren; three sisters, Nancy Wilbanks, JoAnn Kirby, and Mahala Lambert. Along with her parents, she was also predeceased by two sons, Jackie DeLaine Gosnell and Phillip Wayne Gosnell; and siblings, Jimmy Johnson, Norma Miller, Shirley May Richards, and Ronnie Johnson. Graveside service will be 2:00 PM, Monday, January 29, 2018 in Sunset Memorial Park, 1955 Cannons Campground Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by Chaplain Donna Stroud.
