Dorothy Cline

Dorothy Huntsinger Cline, 88, of Spartanburg, died Saturday morning, November 17, 2012, at her home. Born in Spartanburg County on February 12, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Edgar Columbus and Exey Tuck Huntsinger. Mrs. Cline was retired after 43 years of service with The Spartanburg Herald-Journal where her specialty was the Church Events and Society pages. She was a longtime member of El Bethel United Methodist Church. Mrs. Cline is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, William Frederick Cline; her son, Bill Cline and his wife, Karen Fulmer Cline of Pawley's Island, SC, her grandson, Parker Cline of Pawley's Island, SC; and her brother-in-law, D. Vernon Cline, Sr. of Charlotte, NC. A cryptside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, November 19, 2012, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, conducted by the Rev. Jack A. Caldwell. The family will receive friends following the service. The family suggests that in memory of Mrs. Cline, memorials may be made to El Bethel United Methodist Church, 820 S.
