Dorothy Burke

Dorothy Mary Bourne Burke, 82, of Spartanburg, SC, died Sunday, January 7, 2018, at her home. Born March 28, 1935, in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late Dennis and Ester Rooney Bourne and widow of Edward Francis Burke. Mrs. Burke retired from Pathmark Supermarket after 35 years of service and attended St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Survivors include her children, Theresa Burke Costanza (John) of Spartanburg, SC and Timothy Burke (Ellen) of New Jersey; grandsons, Travis Costanza of Spartanburg, SC and Brandon Costanza of Orlando, FL. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a grandson, John-John Costanza; and three brothers. Visitation will be 2:00-2:45 PM Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29306 with funeral services following at 3:00 PM. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Spartanburg Regional Healthcare Center, Bearden-Josey Center for Breast Health, 101 East Wood Street, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
