Doris Wofford

Doris Tooke Wofford, 84, of Spartanburg, SC, died Monday, November 25, 2013, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born February 12, 1929, in Inman, SC, she was the daughter of the late Claude Douglas and Ruby Brown Tooke. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family and a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church, Wellford, SC. Survivors include her beloved husband of 64 years, Rev. Robert Morris Wofford; daughter, Maria Wofford Eubanks (Randall) of Spartanburg, SC; and son, John Mark Wofford (George Loder) of Mt. Vernon, NY. Visitation will be 12:30-1:45 PM Saturday, November 30, 2013, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Jane Jenkins and the Rev. Bill Thompson. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. The family is at the home.
