Doris Tesner

Doris Cudd Tesner, 66, of 254 Greencreek Road, died Friday, March 19, 2010, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born December 28, 1943, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Dennie Evans and Drucilla Elder Cudd and wife of the late Louie Allen Tesner, Sr. She was an LPN at Valley Falls Terrace Nursing Home and a member of First Baptist Church of Arcadia where she was a Sunday School teacher and active in various church activities. She was a great servant of the Lord, and her life was her family and church. Survivors include a son, Louie Allen Tesner, Jr of Spartanburg; a daughter, Dana Tesner Lee of Wellford; a grandson, Phillip Michael Thompson; two sisters, Joyce Edwards and Patsy Allen, both of Spartanburg; a brother, Ronnie Cudd of Spartanburg; and a number of nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews . She was predeceased by a daughter, Lori Jean Tesner; and two brothers, Defoy Cudd and the Rev. Charles Cudd. Visitation will be 3:00-3:45 p.m. Sunday, March 21, 2010, at the First Baptist Church of Arcadia. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 p.m. at the Church, conducted by the Rev. Joey Burnett. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. The family is at the home.
