Doris Sowers

Doris Alberta Jones Sowers, 75, of Spartanburg, died Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at Maranatha Manor. Born November 21, 1936, in Denver, Colorado, she loved the Lord and was the wife of the late Donald Lee Sowers, Sr. Surviving are her daughters, Becky Owenby of Spartanburg, SC, and Beverly Jones of Pauline, SC; sons, William B. Sowers of Tryon, NC, and Donald Sowers, Jr., of Deer Park, WA; granddaughter, Brandi Owenby Scruggs of Spartanburg; great-grandson, Brayden Scruggs of Spartanburg; and brother, Harold V. Jones of Colville, WA. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Misty Dawn Sowers. A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 AM Friday, July 13, 2012, in Sunset Memorial Park.
