Doris Miller

Doris Jean "Peggy" Broom Miller, 87, of Spartanburg, SC, died Saturday, September 15, 2018, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born March 29, 1931, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Claude James Broom and Gret Frazee Broom. A graduate of Spartanburg High School, Peggy attended St. Margaret's Episcopal Church in Boiling Springs in the past years. Survivors include her children, Pam Connelly (Bennett), Jeff Miller (Laura), and Tim Miller (Lori); grandchildren, Caleb Miller, Tyler Miller, Ryan Miller, Rachel Fowler (Brandon), and Evan Connelly; brother, Joe Broom of Knoxville, TN; sister, Margaret B. Brock of Columbia, MO; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Robert "Bobby" T. Miller, Jr.; four brothers; and two sisters. Visitation will be 12:15-12:45 PM Saturday, September 22, 2018, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel, 4161 Hwy 9 N, Boiling Springs, SC 29316, with funeral services following at 1:00 PM, conducted by The Rev. Sean Miller. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 1451 Compton Bridge Rd., Inman, SC 29349.
