Doris Mcpherson

Doris Liles McPherson, 90, of Spartanburg, SC died Wednesday, July 13, 2022. Born March 4, 1932 in Cannons Campground Community of Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Thomas William and Mamie Lucille Arthur Liles and was the wife of the late N. B. McPherson, Jr.

Doris was retired from Draper Corporation. She was a member of Croft Baptist Church and The Joy Club.

Survivors include her brothers, Glenn Liles (Nora) of Spartanburg, SC and Wayne Liles (Wilma) of Boiling Springs, SC, her nieces and nephews, Kim Christian, Mark Liles, Glenda Dill, Rhonda Hannon and Eric Liles, along with many great nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Christine McPherson, and her siblings, Charles Gary Liles, Raymond Liles, Tommy Liles, Lucille Liles, and John Liles.

Visitation will be at 10:30 – 11:30 am Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Graveside service will be at 12:00 noon in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by The Rev. Dr. Michael Bradley.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Croft Baptist Church Building Fund, 4190 E. Croft Circle, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
